A quiet place on the internet to read the Bible. Nothing for sale, nothing tracking you, nothing between you and the text.

The mission

The Bible is the most read book in human history, yet reading it online usually means accounts, apps, notifications, and advertising. ItsBible exists to remove all of that. One clean site where anyone in the world, believer or not, can open Scripture and read without friction and without being monetized.

What we believe about access

Access to Scripture should be free in every sense: free of charge, free of ads, free of accounts, and free of judgment about who is reading or why. Whether you have read the Bible your whole life or are opening it for the first time out of curiosity, this site treats you the same way.

The translation

We use the World English Bible (WEB), a modern English translation that is in the public domain. That matters for two reasons: it reads naturally today, and it is legally free for anyone on earth to read, copy, quote, and share without permission or payment. Chapter text on the Read page is served with help from a free public Scripture API.

Your privacy

There are no accounts and no analytics scripts on this site. Your reading position, plan progress, and theme choice are saved only in your own browser and never leave your device. If you clear your browser storage, they are gone; we could not recover them because we never had them.

What is coming

This is the first version. On the roadmap: more translations and languages, audio, search, printable plans, and offline reading. The site will stay free and free of ads as it grows.
